On Friday, December 10, one adult and two juveniles were arrested in connection with the shooting of a 15-year-old male.
The victim, whose name was not released, was shot in the upper torso, said Lt. Carlos Guido, a spokesman for the Douglas Police Department.
Orlando Sosa, 18, of 1345 10th Street, was booked at the Cochise County Jail and charged with 1st degree attempted murder.
Enrique Sosa, 15, of 1345 10th Street, was remanded as an adult and will be charged as one. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and 1st degree attempted murder.
A third juvenile, 14, is also being held in connection with the shooting. His name was not released.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday the police received a call about a disturbance on 10th Street.
"But we're still trying to piece together what led to the shooting," Guido said.
He said there apparently was a conflict between the home occupants and the group, which started a rock-throwing incident.
Guido said that additional arrests are pending.
