School Board meeting Thursday

A public hearing on the proposed 2005-06 Douglas Unified School District budget will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at the Central Administration Building on 12th Street.


Following the public hearing, the district board will further discuss the budget and is expected to adopt it.

The board is also expected to approve a donation of $8,953 from the estate of Marty Stolp.

Several items are on the consent agenda including the hiring of Ray Borane Middle School principal Diane Drury, Huber Assistant Principal Jennifer Kingsley and other teacher and support staff.

This is the only meeting scheduled for July and all are invited to attend.
