An accident taking place at the intersection of 11th Street and Washington Ave. resulted in no serious injuries for either of the drivers of two pick-up trucks.

According to Sergeant Rudy Salazar with the Douglas Police Department, Saturday afternoon, Juan DeDios Murillo Audeves, 44, of Agua Prieta, was driving a white 1991 Ford truck traveling westbound and failed to stop at the stop sign.

He then struck Domingo Morales Chavez, 51, of Douglas who had been traveling north of Washington Ave. Chavez' 1995 blue Ford pick-up truck spun around one and a half times before stopping on its left side. Chavez at first refused treatment, but then was transported to Southeast Arizona Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and citations were issued to Audeves for failure to stop and no insurance.
