James Reid, Juggler Extraordinaire, will perform at the Douglas Public Library on Friday, July 28, at 3 p.m. as part of the Teen Summer Reading Program. Following his performance, he will present a juggling workshop to give young people the opportunity to learn this fascinating skill.

When only eight years old, James saw a juggler for the first time, performing on the streets of Tempe. Mesmerized, the youngster ran up to ask for a lesson. Only a few months later he made his debut as Jobo the Juggler. Passionate about performing, James also loves to share what he has learned with others and has been teaching juggling for almost 20 years.

Although there is no charge for the juggling workshop, a limited number may attend. Anyone who is not in the Teen Reading Program, but is at least 8 years old, may sign up for the workshop by calling the Library at 364-3851.
