Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet tonight

The Annual Douglas Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet will be held tonight, Saturday, October 21, 2006.

Honorees for this year's banquet are as follows: Man of the Year, Raul Montano; Woman of the Year, Judy Herbert; Small Business of the Year, Yogi's Café; Large Business of the Year, U.S. Border Patrol.

The banquet will begin with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

At 7:00 p.m. awards will be presented, and a dance will close off the evening. The event will last until midnight.

All of the community is invited to participate in this event, and Chamber of Commerce asks that all RSVP's are received by October 1, 2006.

The event will be held at Club 3000 at 1703 E. 9th Street.

Tickets are available at the door.
