Head Football coach and Ray Borane Middle School instructor John Necas has been cleared of abuse charges after being placed on paid administrative leave a week ago.

He returned to work yesterday following a Monday meeting with School District Superintendent Gail Zamar.

"After conducting extensive interviews with staff and students, there was no evidence to substantiate the allegations brought against Mr. Necas,"" Zamar said.

He had been placed on paid leave beginning Thursday, November 2, following an alleged incident between him and a middle school student.

The Douglas Po0lice Department, who was called by the mother of the child making the accusations, finished their investigation and have forwarded their findings to the County Attorney.
