Sedona's Future Studios goes global

It is hard to deny the universal appeal of Sedona, Arizona's red rock wonderland. Millions of people from around the world visit Sedona annually. Sedona is also home to a visionary company pioneering entertainment as we know it. Global Change Multi-Media Company, in association with Future Studios, can now broadcast live events from Sedona on the Internet to a worldwide audience.

"The possibilities are enormous," says BenDameean Steinhardt, Director of Global Change Multi-Media. "People all over the world can watch a live event happening in Sedona, including concerts, seminars, and speakers, from the comfort of their own home." Currently, there are only a handful of entertainment venues around the world that are wired for live Internet broadcast. "Many are beginning to catch on to this new wave in entertainment delivery," continued Mr. Steinhardt.

If someone has a topic, presentation, or an event with a broad appeal, hundreds of thousands of participants around the world can be linked via the Internet. World-Wide Webcast events can act as a huge promotional and marketing tool for a company, an artist, a product, or message. Event producers can charge (or not charge) what they want for a live webcast seminar or live concert on-line and also make the video program available after the actual event on a post-broadcast "on-demand" basis on the Internet as well. "Global Change Multi-Media can provide the venue and coordinate all the Internet, video, and audio production components on a 'one-stop' basis. This makes it possible for the event producer to focus on the presentation and leave the rest to us," continued Mr. Steinhardt.

By making these services available, Global Change Multi-Media is leading Sedona and the Southwest to the cutting edge of Internet technology. Northern-Arizona's portal into cyber-space is located at Future Studios, Sedona's premiere live performance venue and audio/video production facility. Not only does the facility have the ability to host music, theater, speakers, and seminars, but it can now also make those events viewable live worldwide. Joining in the task of wiring Sedona to the world is eSedona, a local Internet service provider. Just last year the Live 8 Concerts (a one day concert event that took place in eight global locations with the goal of "Making Poverty History") were viewed by a staggering 5 million people on-line in one day.

"We think live performances and live programming on the Internet are the wave of the future," says Future Studios' booking agent, Mycenay Plyler. "People come to Sedona from around the world to experience seminars on various cutting-edge topics. Our Live World-Wide Webcast services offer musicians, artists and those with information to share via seminars exposure to vastly greater audiences using the latest in Internet technology."
