"There will be international soccer tournaments, crafts, food booths and music," said David Cota, the recreation program supervisor for the City of Douglas.
Soccer teams will compete at 5p.m. on Friday and will continue to play throughout the weekend. The championship will be held on Sunday. All together, there will be about 23 teams participating.
All-Day arm-bands will be sold at the water department at City Hall, Cota said. The cost is $12 for unlimited rides. The arm-bands will cost $18 if you buy them at the park, he said.
Cota said that a variety of food booths will be available, ranging from American, Chinese, Mexican and Thai.
Music will also be available during the weekend.
There will be a rock band on Friday. On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4p.m., DJ Tech FX will present its music and Tribal Soul will perform from 6p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Sunday DJ Tech FX will perform again and on Sunday afternoon Desert Swing will present its 1920s to 1960s music from 1p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"If you're a fan of Big Band music, then come and listen to Desert Swing," Cota said.
