"A Night on Broadway" is this year's theme for the Cochise Children's Choir's fourth annual Musical Feast set for Feb. 10. The social occasion, which takes place at the Thunder Mountain Activities Centre on Fort Huachuca, is the choir's major fund-raiser of the year.

It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the sounds of Broadway with that special someone for Valentine's Day! A special feature of the Musical Feast will be a live job auction offering the opportunity to shadow a Sierra Vista "Celebrity" for a day. The following local personalities have agreed to auction themselves for the benefit of the CCC: Dick Ferdon, Kartchner Caverns Park manager; Ken Kimmel, Sierra Vista police chief; Bob Strain, Sierra Vista mayor; and Bill Miller, Sierra Vista police chief. This is a wonderful opportunity to bid, win and explore a new career field or satisfy a long time occupational dream.
The stylish evening begins at 5 p.m. with a social hour and cash bar. Patrons will peruse and bid on the lovely Silent Auction items donated from local businesses and artists.
Auction items include escapes to local bed and breakfasts and Tucson area hotels, Mountain Getaways, jewelry, pottery, wine, art and gift certificates to area businesses and dining establishments.
After social hour, the five-course feast will begin, and each course will be followed by featured Sierra Vista entertainers which include Roger Bayes, director of the Sierra Vista Symphony; Reynaldo Romo, opera singer and local business owner; Jesika Cline, former Miss Sierra Vista; Rick Stahl, jazz musician and composer, Jill Brown, artistic director of the Cochise Children's Choir; Alicia Caron, CCC Cadet Choir director; and Angela Moreno, CCC business manager.
The event will also feature the Cochise Children's Choir's advanced choir, the Touring Ensemble. All singers will be performing the wonderful sounds of Broadway which will include: a Cole Porter medley, and a "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" medley; selections from "Oklahoma!," "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Music Man," "Lil' Abner," "The Sound of Music" and others. In addition, the Cochise Children's Choir Touring Ensemble will welcome all guests in the lobby with an array of choral selections.
Tickets for "A Night on Broadway" are $75, with $40 of that amount considered a tax-deductible donation to the choir. Formal or semi-formal attire is suggested.
