Grand Theatre readies for cleanup on March 24

Published/Last Modified on Friday, March 9, 2007 3:17 PM MST

Get out your elbow grease and join members of the Grand Theatre board and others in a cleanup project at the historic theatre beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 24.

Come for as long as you can. There are all sorts of small and large jobs that can be accomplished on this cleanup day including grilling burgers for our lunch.

So, if you are not up to physical labor, contact Holly Berryhill at Jones Real Estate at 364-8497 as soon as possible because cooks are needed to cook, serve and supply burgers, chips, salads, brownies and condiments.

The city will provide a complimentary dump truck and driver. The goal is to fill and dump it as many times as possible before the dump closes at 3 p.m.

Bring your gloves, brooms, shovels, crow bars, sunscreen, hats - whatever you need for the job you prefer.
