The City of Douglas will be working on various projects over the coming week. The work is being completed by the City of Douglas Public Works Department and is part of the Mayor and Council's ongoing infrastructure improvement program.

ˆ Concrete work will continue on 12th street between Pan American and G Avenue (install curb gutter and sidewalk).
ˆ Tenth Street to 9th Street and San Antonio, concrete work will take place.
ˆ In the downtown area, disabled parking spots will be repainted and striping will take place.
ˆ 24TH Street and Louis Avenue Water Main Extension. Expect street closure.
ˆ Lawrence Avenue Sewer Main Replacement. Expect street closure on Lawrence Avenue from Leslie Canyon Rd. to Sulphur Springs Rd.
Fire Hydrant Maintenance will continue throughout the City
Throughout the City there will be miscellaneous concrete repairs, pothole patching, and graffiti cleanup. If you should have any problems with water and/or sewer services on the weekend or a holiday, please contact the Douglas Police Department at 364-8422 and staff on call will be dispatched to your residence.
