The portrayal of twins separated prior to World War II and subsequently living dramatically different ways will be shown at the International Film Festival at the Douglas Campus of Cochise College on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Entitled TWIN SISTERS, the film shows the girls torn apart at the tender age of six and then adopted by entirely different families. Anna stays in Germany growing up in a harsh environment while Lotte grows up in a loving home in the Netherlands.

In subsequent years the girls attempt to reach each other yearning for the reconciliation that only twins can experience. At last just before the war, they reach each other in an emotionally impacting meeting. What follows is the result of separation and reuniting in this heart wrenching story.
