A used book sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas Public Library, will be held in the library meeting room April 20-22. Proceeds from this semi-annual fundraiser are used to enhance library services, especially the Summer Reading Program activities.

The sale is scheduled on Friday, April 20, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m.

Members of the Friends of the Library will have an opportunity to shop and enjoy refreshments at the special pre-sale party on Thursday, April 19, 6 - 8 p.m. This is also an excellent opportunity for new members to join.

Book prices are 25 cents each for paperbacks and 50 cents each for hardbacks. Videos will sell for 50 cents each and records for 25 cents. There are many other items very reasonably priced. Sunday is "Buck a Bag" Day. Shoppers are invited to fill a bag with books for only $1.00. Sales policy is "Cash Only, No Holds." For more information, visit the library or call 364-3851.
