College to host Women in Business Conference

The Arizona Small Business Development Center Network, in conjunction with Cochise College and the Fort Huachuca C-Com Acquisition Center, will present the conference Women in Business from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 18 at the Sierra Vista Campus.


The one-day conference includes sessions on marketing, procurement, health insurance and retirement, and business success. Sessions are as follows:

ˆ Budget-Wise Marketing: How to Become a Marketing Superstar on a Tight Budget, presented by Cheryl Bakari of The Center for Innovative Training

ˆ Government Procurement, presented by Tony Isom, C-Com Acquisition Center, Fort Huachuca

ˆ Planning for the Future: Health Insurance and Retirement Plans, presented by Catherine Salaz, John Driscoll & Company, Inc.

ˆ Building Prosperity: Creating a Successful Business, presented by Lorraine Chavira, Astute Coaching
