Are you a high school student with a business idea?

Sign up now for "Get the Buzz on Biz," a free summer program for students who want to learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. The free, five-day program meets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20 at the City of Douglas Recreation Center, 919 E. Third St.

A partnership between the Cochise College Small Business Development Center and the City of Douglas, "Get the Buzz on Biz" will teach young people what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Students will learn and take part in a hands-on approach to the fast-growing and innovative world of small business. They'll discover what it takes to organize, manage and fund a business. They'll come with an idea and leave with a plan.

Students who would like to participate can learn more by calling the Small Business Development Center at (520) 515-5478. Registrations will be accepted through Friday, July 6.
