The dialysis center is in the final stages of completion. Chestnut Construction started working on the project in January, said Bill Munson, a supervisor for Chestnut. They expect to finish by the end of this month Dialysis Clinics, Inc authorities said the center is scheduled to be running by late August or early September. The water system will soon be installed for the 12 dialysis bays, said Larry Brauer, an administrator for DCI. When that is completed, the Department of Health Services will then certify the center as an out patient center for dialysis. DCI has all ready hired the support staff for the 6,000 square foot center. The center will be a major asset for dialysis patients in the area, many of whom had to travel to Sierra Vista and Tucson for their dialysis needs.
