Friends watch as Edward Noriega, a junior at Douglas High School, spins the roulette wheel at the Teen Maze and Career Fair at Cochise College Thursday. Noriega drew the simulated situation of considering a physical relationship with his girlfriend and was directed to receive counseling from a local agency. Teen Maze planners expected about 600 students to attend the event, which gives participants the tools to make healthy life choices. In addition to the college, the event was sponsored or attended by the Cochise County Health Department, the Douglas Police Department and Explorers, the Cochise County Sheriff's Department and DUI Task Force, Child and Family Resources, Douglas Fire Department, Cochise County Juvenile Probation, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety gang task force.
