The 15th Annual Bisbee Fiber Arts Festival will be held Saturday October 6th from 8am to 1pm in Vista Park along with the Bisbee Farmer's Market. The location is in the Warren District, across from the ballpark.

There will even be a tent for the children and adults to try their hand at the various crafts with looms and wheels waiting to be tried and artists ready to help you learn.
Chasing Rainbows from California will be at the Festival along with Cotton Clouds from Safford, selling wonderful colored fiber and yarns. Rae Temperton with Rae's Woodworking & Crafts will have beautiful handmade fiber art tools and inkle looms available to purchase. Desert Mt. Alpaca Ranch, Square Top Ranch and Condalia Alpacas will feature alpaca yarns and wearables. Canyon Wren Ranch from Aravaipa Canyon, will feature Navajo Churro fleeces and yarns and Apache Hill Wool Ranch will have live animals and fiber and yarns right from her ranch in Gleeson.
Special events this year will feature The Creative Anachronisms Society demonstrating drop spindle spinning, inkle and card weaving and other needle crafts A demonstration of spinning fleece to shawl with a drawing at 1pm for the completed shawl will intrigue everyone. New this year will be a roving fashion show at the Festival.
Deb Taylor of Gourd Dog Studio who creates hand dyed clothing and fabric will have models moving through the market wearing her latest fashions.
This years Fiber Arts Festival will surely be an event for everyone from young to old to enjoy. Following the Festival the Fiber Arts Studio will be open to visitors as well as a Fiber Boutique at the Bisbee Community Y (old YWCA building) on 26 Howell Ave. in downtown Old Bisbee. The studio will be open from 10am to 4pm on October 6th and 7th.
Public is welcome free of charge.
