Halloween is only a week away and kids and adults are busily preparing their costumes for the big day. The Daily Dispatch, City of Douglas Recreation Department and participating sponsors are preparing for its annual Spooktacular carnival at Castro Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 31. There is also still time for those interested in giving away candy to kids downtown from 4 to 5:30 p.m. To add you business name to the list, contact The Daily Dispatch at 364-3424.
