With so many kinds of insurance out in the market, finding the right insurance can often create lots of confusion and anxiety.

By Xavier Zaragoza/The Daily Dispatch Priscilla Leon, left, Darlyne Hathaway of Heartland Insurance celebrate the opening of the new office on 1065 F Avenue.

At Heartland Insurance, located at 1065 F Avenue, Suite #2, the staff there takes away the hassles and inconveniences of looking for the right coverage for home, commercial, life and health insurance.

“We try to find the best and affordable rates out there,” said Darlyne Vance Hathaway, the agent for Heartland Insurance.

Heartland, whose main office is based in Sierra Vista, opened its doors in Douglas on July 2007 and since then has been serving the community.

For example, Hathaway has helped senior citizens supplement their insurance with their existing Medicare and Medicaid through APIPIA.

“Or we can package the coverage in which we can give good rates by combining home and auto insurances,” she said.

And for those in law enforcement or the military, she has a package with discounted rates.

There are also good rates available for manufactured homes, which also includes flood insurance, she said.

Hathaway said she writes for companies like Progressive, AIG, Travelers, and Fidelity to name a few.

She has hired Pricilla Leon, who speaks Spanish, in order to reach a wider demographic, she said.

“We want to be able to help anybody who is in need of great rates and friendly customer service,” Hathaway said.

Hathaway has nearly 10 years experience and hopes that with her skills as an insurance agent, she will be able to help the community get the right coverage at the best rate.

For more information call Darlyne or Pricilla at 805-1505. After hours the phone call is redirected to Hathaway’s cell phone. She said she is available on evenings, holidays and weekends, if necessary.
