DRPC offers Hunter Ed Class

The Douglas Rifle and Pistol Club is sponsoring an Arizona Hunter Education Course.


The 20 hour course teaches the safe handling of firearms in the home and field as well as hunter ethics and responsibility.

The course will begin on Monday, Nov. 19 and run Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Nov. 30.

A field day will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Douglas Shooting Range.

Classes will be held at the Douglas Arts Association building located at 625 10th Street.

Cost is $5 per person.

The course is required by law for children between the ages of 10 and 14 who hunt big game.

Each person completing the course will receive a permanent bonus point for big game drawings.
