January 15 is the deadline to apply for the fall 2008 start of the nursing program at Cochise College.

Prospective nursing students also need to obtain a fingerprint card from the Department of Public Service, (520) 458-8301.
Since obtaining the card is a six- to eight-week process, it is advised that students start the process now in order to meet the March 30 deadline for cards to be filed with the Nursing Office.
In order to be considered for admission to the nursing program, students must be admitted to Cochise College, turn in previous college transcripts, and thoroughly complete the nursing application packet.
They also must take the Nursing Entrance Test (NET).
The NET is given once a year in February, and only those individuals who have a current application on file in the Nursing Office are eligible to take it.
Completed applications should be mailed to the attention of the Nursing Office, Douglas Campus, 4190 W. Highway 80, Douglas, AZ 85607.
