St. Vincent dePaul needs your help this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and although the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will not have a sit-down dinner this year, other organizations in the city will be serving dinner.


St. Vincent will still be cooking a meal which will be delivered to those men and women served by Meals on Wheels, or are homebound by age or illness.

The group is in need of monetary donations so they can purchase stuffing mix, instant potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, and the carryout boxes need for delivery. Donations of pies are also needed.

For additional information, please call 364-2525 or 364-2208 after 5 p.m. or 364-7573 from 1 o 3 p.m.

    " Last year when i helped out St. Vincent de Paul with the sit-down dinner i had a lot of fun. After the dinner i felt so good of myself for doing things that help my community. This organization is for a good cause and they need the communities support "
