Grand Theatre celebrates Christmas with Tree Auction

The deadline has been extended to 3p.m. on Wedneday, Dec. 12, to bid on the Douglas Arts and Humanities Association  2nd annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction to benefit the restoration of the Grand Theatre

The event helps encourage shoppers to visit the businesses of downtown Douglas. The decorated Christmas trees will be displayed in business windows along G Ave. and adjacent streets. A silent auction will be held using bid sheets in the stores, businesses and at the Gadsden Hotel until December 12th.

Last year the tree decorated by The Special Rose raised the most money, however, Southeastern Arizona Federal Credit Union decorated the most popular tree in unusual colors of bright pink and lime green.

Winning bidders will be able to pick up their trees after payment has been verified by Holly Berryhill at Everett J. Jones Real Estate.
