The City of Douglas will host the 4th Annual Christmas Light Expo & Santa’s Village this weekend.

Santa Claus is coming to town-Santa is getting ready to make his annual visit to Castro Park on Saturday. He will be there at 4 p.m. for pictures and to listen to children's fondest wishes for the holidays. There is a full. evening of activities on tonight nd a full day on Saturday at the park. Earlier on Saturday, at 9 a.m. at the4 Douglas Elks Lodge, located directly across from the park at 10th Street, Children can enjoy “Breakfast with Santa.” The annual event, sponsored by The Daily Dispatch and participating merchants, features a free all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for children and the cost is only $1 for adults. All funds will be presented to the Elks Lodge for their youth programs.

The event will be held at Raul Castro Park on 10th Street and will begin Friday December 7, at 5 p.m. and run to 9 p.m.  It continues on Saturday December 8, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Weather permitting.
