Douglas Recreation Center hosts a children’s party, Dec. 24

The Douglas Recreation Center invites all community youth to a children’s party on Monday, December 24, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.


The party will be held at the recreation center, 919 3rd Street.

There will be popcorn, soda, hotdogs movies, crafts and Insta-Snow play.

The Douglas Aquatic Center is sponsoring Kids Aquatic Day Camp during the holiday break.

The camp is offered in two sessions, the week of Monday, December 24 and December 31. It will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holiday, December 25 and January 1.

The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays.

The cost is $3 a day, or $10 for the week.

The camp will include food, games, arts and crafts, tubes, movies and snacks.
