Dead body identified

Randall Gold has been identified as the person found dead on the 1100 block of 18th Street on Monday.


The Douglas Police Department was called to the unattende4d death of the 47-year-old male, who reportedly is not from the area.

An autopsy, which was to be performed this week, has been postponed due to unspecified concerns.

 Instead z blood test is being performed by the Department of Public Safety Lab. Results are expected in one to two weeks.

According to police, there was nothing suspicious in the death. There was no blood at the scene and there was no trauma on the body.
