√ Docket PZ 05/2007, proposed adoption of the 2008 subdivision code, including increases in filing fees, to reflect changes in state legislation regarding subdivisions and to replace the City’s Subdivision Code adopted in 1980.
√ Docket PZ 06/2007, proposed adoption of minor amendments to the 2002 General Plan to allow for mixed use development. The minor amendment will add mixed use development to Element I: Growth Areas and Population; Element II: Land Use Element; and Element IV: Housing.
√ Docket PZ 07/2007, proposed amendment to the Zoning Regulations establishing a Mixed Use/Infill Development Overlay Zone to encourage mixed use and infill development or redevelopment in areas of the City designated as the Mixed Use/Infill Development Overlay Zone.

√ First reading of ordinance 09-918, which adopts the 2008 subdivision code for the City of Douglas.
√ Resolution 08-526, which adopts minor amendments to the city’s general plan 2002.
√ First reading of ordinance 08-919, which amends the official zoning regulations, rules and guidelines of the City of Douglas. By adding sections 515 to article 5 establishing a mixed use/infill development overlay zone (MUI) to protect and enhance the distinctive character of the original town site by encouraging mixed use and infill development overlay zone map to establish the boundaries of the overlay zone.
√ First reading of ordinance 08-920, which authorizes the city to acquire from Sam Siebenberg, real property, identified as lots 31-32 of block 85. Located at 357 10 Street and H Avenue for the Douglas Government Plaza project.
√ Resolution 08-524, which designates the city manager to declare official intent on behalf of the city with respect to reimbursement from proceeds of tax-exempt bonds pursuant to treasury regulations section 1.150-2.
√ Resolution 08-525, which authorizes the city clerk to appoint election officials and fixing the compensation of election officials.
√ Resolution 08-527, which authorizes the city to apply for grant funding from the Arizona Community Foundation to start a teen advisory group.
√ Discuss on proposed water/sewer impact fees for new development.
√ Presentation on garbage rate study prepared by economists.com.
