Aviation students have new transfer opportunity

Published/Last Modified on Friday, February 15, 2008 3:06 PM MST

Cochise College has signed an articulation agreement with Kansas State University at Salina that provides a framework for aviation students who wish to transfer their credits and pursue a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical technology.

The agreement allows Cochise College professional pilot and aviation maintenance students to apply their associate degree credits to the KSU aeronautical technology programs in professional pilot and aviation maintenance. Students will work with advisors at both Cochise College and KSU to plan an appropriate course of study.

To qualify, students must have their transcripts and/or in-flight skills evaluated at KSU-Salina.

For more details about the transfer agreement and qualifications, contact the Cochise College Aviation Department at (520) 417-4114, aviation@cochise.edu, or visit KSU Salina online at www.sal.k-state.edu/.
