AIMS testing continues Wed. for high school

On Tuesday and Wednesday, February 26 and 27, all Douglas High School sophomores along with some juniors and seniors will be taking the AIMS Writing and Reading test.


“In an effort to facilitate a calm testing environment and at the same time continue student learning, we will have a modified class schedule on both days.,” said DHS Principal Bonnie Lopez.

Freshmen

Wednesday, February 27

• All Freshmen report to regular DHS B-day classes from 11 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.

Sophomores

Wednesday, February 27

• All sophomores report to school for AIMS testing before 7:30 a.m. with  picture ID.

• Students may work on their AIMS Reading Test until 2 p,m., if necessary, but will be released to their B-Day classes if they finish testing before 1:50 p.m,.

• All classes will be released at 1:50 p.m.

Juniors and Seniors

Wednesday, February 27

• Students who must retake the AIMS Reading Test will report to school for the AIMS testing before 7:30 a.m. with a picture ID Students who must retake the AIMS Reading Test are posted in the windows of the front office/bookstore.

• Students may work on their AIMS Reading Test until 2 p.m., if necessary, but will be released to their academic B-Day classes if they finish testing before 1:50 p.m.

• All classes will be released at 1:50 p.m.

• Students who have successfully passed AIMS Reading Test will report to regular DHS B-Day classes from 11 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
