Photo submitted by Cathy Murphy Last year’s Border to Border event was a total success. Now you’ll have the opportunity to experience again this exciting show.

“It’s going to be much more exciting than last year’s event,” said Robin Brekhus, the organizer of the Border To Border Air Show.

The Border To Border Airshow will be held at the Airport Park on 15th Street and Airport Road east of Douglas.

Parking will be available on the north side of the park. Those with parking needs will be directed to travel east on 15th Street, drive passed Airport Road about _ mile. The parking will be on the old runway.

From there, a hay wagon will take people to the show, Brekhus said.

Air show authorities said that no pets, no ice coolers or bicycles will be allowed at the show.

People are encouraged to bring chairs.

Brekhus said that along with aerobatic stunts, there will also be skydiving and many planes on view such as two A-10 War Hogs, a King Air from Canada, some P51s and A26s.

Of course there will also be music, food booths and a car and bike show.

“It’s just going o be a lot of fun for the family,” she said.
