A Douglas man was killed in Tucson in a high-speed three-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

Armando “Jerry” Villa, 21, crashed into a Honda Accord on Valencia Road near Campbell Avenue.

Villa was driving a Ford Mustang and was headed west on Valencia when the traffic stoplight turned red.

At about the same time a gold Honda Accord was traveling east on Valencia and attempted to make a left turn onto Campbell Avenue as the arrow turned green.

According to Tucson police the driver of the Mustang ran the red light and crashed into the Accord and spun out of control.

The Mustang also struck a black Chevrolet Avalanche that was leaving a gas station at the corner of the intersection.

The driver of the Honda was not injured; the driver of the Avalanche was transported to a hospital.
