Loretto School recently held its annual speech contest.

√ Grades 1-2 - Choice of any poem, 10-15 lines.
√ Grades 3-4-Choice of any poem, 15-25 lines
√ Grades 5-6 - Original Composition, 2 minutes
√ Grades 7-8 - Original Composition, 3 minutes
Judging criteria was based on expression, memory, poise, length /time, enunciation, content and projection.
Judging the event was Elizabeth Ames, Gus Luna, Annabelle Wu and Sister Mary Kirkoff, M.M.S.

The event was coordinated by Sister Rita Therese and Ana Romero.

I attended in the audience these kids were absolutely phenomonal. The upper divisions "3&4" (5th grade through 8th grade ) composed thier own speech. Thier topics were quite thought provoking, and thier public speaking skill's WOW!
