Welding winners

The results for the ninth annual high school welding competition at Cochise College in Sierra Vista were as follows:


• First place — Michael Guerrero, 12th grade, Douglas High School, score: 77.7

• Second place — Andrew Ellison, 11th grade, Mingus Union High School, score: 70.8

• Third place — Demetrio Ibarrola, 12th grade, Douglas High School, score: 68.7

• Fourth place — Reba Klump, 10th grade, Willcox High School, score: 68.3

• Fifth place — Bridger Skaorer, 12th grade, Willcox High School, score: 65.7

• Sixth place — Ashton Thomas, 11th grade, Benson High School, score: 65.5

• Seventh place — Chad Rigby, 12th grade, Mingus Union High School, score: 64.5
