To cook is Art Cloud, a culinary school graduate.
While there is some seating, the food is primarily take-out and features a variety of salads, soups, deli sandwiches, Italian lunch and dinner entrees, Italian desserts and a deli meat and cheese counter in which items are sold by the pound.
Meats and cheeses sold in the eli case include italian beef,m corned beef, italian sausage rope, Smoked Turkey, Prosciutto ham, Genoa Salami, Pastrami, bratwurst and pepperoni; along with cheeses like Gouda, pepper loaf, Swiss, Provolone, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola and Jalberge.
In addition to prepared food, party trays are also available.
The restaurant carries a large variety of starters including appetizers Buschetta, Antipasto, Shrimp Cocktail Italiano, Italian Hot Wings, Deep Fried Zucchini and Mushrooms, along with the house soup like Minestrone with Rotelli Pasta, and specials of the day, Black Bean and sausage, Monday; Cream of Broccoli, Tuesday; Italian Meatball with Risotto, Wednesday; Chicken Vermicelli, Thursday; and Seafood Chowder, Friday.
Salads available include a house salad; Three Green Salad, which is a combination of Romaine, Endive and garden lettuce4; Caesar Salad and Macaroni salad. All soups and salads are served with toasted bread.
The restaurant offers a huge variety of cold and hot six-inch deli sandwiches priced from $4 to $6.75 on a variety of breads including sliced Rye, Wheat roll, Italian Sub roll, Ciabatta or Pumpernickel Each sandwich is served with macaroni salad and a pickle spear.
Entrees are served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.Monday through Saturday and includes favorites like Grilled Italian Sausage and Poppers, Linguini with Clams, Stuffed Manicotti, Shrimp Scampi, vegetarian or beef Lasagna Beef or Cheese Ravioli and Calzones among other items.
But, of course, what’s lunch or dinner without dessert.

“We have great food at reasonable prices,” said Calderon. It’s served just he way you like it — hot or cold — good homemade Italian food as a fast food pace.
“Our goal is to have your homemade food to you in 10 minutes or less. El Italian o is the perfect place for people on the go, before or after sporting events,short lunch hours, lunch on the go or on your way home from work.”
