The Valley Union High School District Governing Board is proposing a random drug and alcohol testing program.

The Governing Board is committed to educate all of VUHS District students in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.  To encourage public discussion of the proposed program, the Governing Board has scheduled community forums in Elfrida, and Sunsites.

The Elfrida forum will be held May 6, 6 pm, in the high school old gym, and the Sunsites forum will be held May 8, 6 pm, in the Sunsites Community Building.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.  The district superintendent and high school principal will conduct the meeting with various law enforcement agencies being represented for questions and comments.
