Four Cochise College employees who are members of the college’s Classified Association were recently presented with Achieved Classified Excellence (ACE) awards.

Brantley works in Career Services, where she assists students looking for jobs and internships and provides general support to the department.
Harder assists the Office of Institutional Research and has been working at Cochise College for almost four years. She supports the office’s needs with survey administration, students’ evaluations, budget monitoring, purchasing and travel.
Mersinger earned her professional administrative assistant degree from Cochise College in 1990 and is administrative assistant in the campus dean’s office. She has been employed by the college for more than 18 years, serves on the FISH Committee, records notes for Academic Standards Committee meetings, is involved with the summer camps, and helps students however she can.
“There are many deserving individuals at Cochise College, and I’m honored to be a part of group,” Mersinger said.
Martin was hired as a clerk in Student Services in 1984 and, over a period of 24 years, has worked as a records and registration clerk, transcript technician and student services technician. She supports the advisors and counselors in the Student Services office and also assists international students seeking information and admission to Cochise College.
“I love working with our students and consider Cochise College my extended family,” Martin said.
This is the ninth year the ACE awards have been given. The names of current and previous recipients are listed on perpetual plaques housed on both the Douglas and Sierra Vista Campuses.
