Early Learning Center

The Early Learning  Center will have pre-registrations for preschoolers, every Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Children should be 4 years old before September 1st. 


Required documents at registration are: an original official state birth certificate, immunization records, and 3 (three) proofs of residence,(these are  documents with your name and physical address)

Individuals with questions may call the ELC office at 364-8473 or 364-2447 ex. 5000.

 Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Alma – 4 year olds

This week we focused on the color purple and the oval shape.

The project we will be doing for it is a fieldtrip to the park to hunt for the oval shape. Eggs were painted purple, the student’s name on it and they have to find their own.  We went to the Elementary schools to visit the kinder classes that they will be attending next year.

Ms. Diana and Ms. Elena – 4 year olds

This week the children will learn about “Farm Animals”

We will learn about the different animals what they eat, what they give us. Like the cow gives us milk, meat, the pig gives us meat, skin is used to make different things. like drums. etc.  Monday children will make a chick practicing the oval shape and color purple Tuesday children will make corn cob paintings Wednesday animal thumb prints like cows, pigs, roosters, ducks, and chickens. Thursday children will make a sheep with cotton balls and construction paper.
