COSTRUCTION UPDATE

The closed section of Campus Drive on the east side of the Sierra Vista Campus will reopen this week, and that section of road will remain dirt for some period of time. Campus visitors can expect to hear repetitive noise from the area of the career tech building this week as workers prepare the roof decking on the new building, which is really coming along! Using the south entrance of the Sierra Vista Campus, 10 trucks will deliver concrete Wednesday, April 30 for the final pours on the floor slab.

In addition, structural steel roof joists are going up on the science building addition. The floor is expected to be complete early this week, when scaffolding will start appearing so workers can complete the framing.

As always, use caution when driving or walking near campus construction sites.
