College rodeo boosters announce winners

The Cochise College rodeo boosters announce the winners of the jackpot progressive barrel racing and goat tying series that took place this spring and ended April 28 at the Rocking JP Arena in Palominas.


Submitted Photos Justice Green was the Open All-Around Champion with 460 points and Bailey Slover (not pictured) is the Youth All-Around Champion with 500 points at the jackpot progressive barrel racing and goat tying series that took place this spring and ended April 28 at the Rocking JP Arena in Palominas. .

Winners in every division and age group received buckles, and saddles were awarded to the high-point open and the high-point youth.

Winners are as follows: Justice Green - Open All-Around Champion - 460 pts; Ellen Whitehead - 2nd Open All Around - 430 pts; Samantha Lane - 3rd Open All Around - 420 pts.

Bailey Slover - Youth All-Around Champion - 500 pts; Shyanne Summerfield - 2nd Youth All Around - 460 pts; Kristin Mangum - 3rd Youth All Around - 330 pts.

Justice Green - Open Goats Champion - 220 pts; Ellen Whitehead - Open Goats 2nd - 210 pts; Samantha Lane - Open Goats 3rd - 190 pts.

Bailey Slover - 11 - 15 Goats Champion - 330 pts; Brenna Slover - 11 - 15 Goats 2nd - 180 pts; Shyanne Summerfield - 11 - 15 Goats 3rd - 130 pts.

Justice Green - AA Barrels Champion - 240 pts; Maddie Matelli - AA Barrels 2nd - 195 pts; Nicole Hall - AA Barrels 3rd - 150 pts.

Samantha Lane - A Barrels Champion - 230 pts; Ellen Whitehead - A Barrels 2nd - 220 pts; Tammy Arnold - A Barrels 3rd - 200 pts.

Katlyn Knodle - B Barrels Champion - 190 pts; Vicky Greenough - B Barrels 2nd - 100 pts; Nicole Hall - B Barrels 3rd - 80 pts.

Shyanne Summerfield - 11 - 15 Barrels Champion - 330 pts; Kristin Mangum - 11 - 15 Barrels 2nd - 220 pts; Bailey Slover - 11 - 15 Barrels 3rd - 170 pts.

Lexy Newell – 10 & Under Champion – 280 pts.
