Cooling off

School is out and swimming is a great way to cool off for the summer. The community can now enjoy swimming at the 8th Street pool. The hours are from 1 p.m. to 5p.m., Thursday through Sunday. The cost is $1.50 for adults; $1 for children and seniors. Inner tubes can be rental all day for .50 cents. Soon the pool will be offering hot dogs, nachos, pizza and burgers. On the Fourth of July, the pool staff will host a big event. The pool hours will be from 11 a.m. until the end of the fireworks.
