Chip seal on SR 80 near Bisbee

TUCSON -  The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is will alternately close one lane of traffic on State Route 80, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from Tuesday, July 17, through Thursday, June 19, to chip seal the road. The work will take place between State Route 90 and Mule Pass Tunnel.

One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Traffic will be directed by flag crews and a pilot car. Drivers can expect delays of approximately fifteen minutes.

Motorists are advised to watch for construction personnel and public safety officers and to obey all posted speed limit signs and detour routes while traveling through the construction area.
