Bugs and other creepy crawlers was the theme Wednesday evening for the Children’s Summer Reading Program at Castro Park.

Tony the Bug Man displayed his wide range of bugs to the children. He engaged the children with his funny stories about bugs.

Using magnifying glasses, the children got to see the bugs up close at the Creepy Crawly Zoo. In the end the children had the opportunity to understand them a little better.

The Creepy Crawler show was sponsored by the Cochise County Library District.

Librarian Victoria Yarbrough invites all children and their parents to come to the library throughout the month of June for game days, movie afternoons, and programs every Wednesday at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Programs will include a juggler, a magician, and a puppet show.

Children can register for the program until June 20. For more information on the Summer Reading Program please contact the Douglas Public Library, located at 560 10th Street, at 364-3851.
