New law limits night driving by teens

YUMA (AP) — Arizona drivers under age 18 who have had their licenses for less than six months can no longer drive between midnight and 5 a.m.

The Teenage Driver Safety Act that went into effect on July 1 is designed to cut down on the number of accidents involving teens.

The law has exceptions if the teen is with a parent, driving to and from work or a school or church function. The law bars affected drivers from having more than one teen passenger they’re not related to in the car.

" I agree with the new law. WE have teenagers . But it seems lately we are letting kids do as they want and as parents we need to make sure that the law is followed as set. And our kids need to make some good choices. So parents let us stay tune So our kids learn That law is law. What will happen
we can wait and see "
