The Freemansons of Arizona in Douglas have found a way to make our children safer.

With the use of a state-of-the art computer and software, the Masons are generating individual child identification kits that are given to the parents, or legal guardian, to take home for safekeeping.

The information is downloaded onto a CD and given to the parents, including a hardcopy of the child’s information.

If your child goes missing, the information can be given to law enforcement agencies, which can then be used to issue an Amber Alert.

The Child ID software has been written in accordance with the Amber Alert System.

And best of all, the identification program is free of charge.

The program takes the DNA, color photograph, fingerprints and a recorded interview of the child. The DNA sample is taken from the cheek cells in saliva.

The saliva provides a pure, exclusive trace scent, which can be used by tracking dogs.

The color photograph will be circulated by law enforcement agencies to media within two hours of abduction.

The recorded interview captures the appearance, speech, mannerisms and important personal characteristics of a child. It can quickly be distributed via media to reach a large audience.

Although having a child abducted or go missing can be a major tragedy, the child ID kit maybe be that one bit of information that will help retrieve the child safely.
