“Coach Ellsworth and I were just talking one day about doing something different for the Bisbee game,” Rojas said. “We started fooling around with some ideas and this is what we came up with. … We’re really pleased with the outcome.”
Rojas said since the two teams play for the coveted Copper Pick the t-shirt had to have that in it plus the two team’s helmets.
“We got a hold of the official record and decided to throw that in there,” he said.
The shirt even has a Bisbee – Douglas connection. The design was made in Douglas but the shirts printed in Bisbee.
“It really turned out great on a white shirt,” he said. “I’m really pleased with how it came out.”
Rojas has 150 shirts printed and has sold approximately 50 leaving around 100 left.
The shirts are being sold through the DECA store at DHS. All proceeds will go to the DHS baseball club.
