Robert G. Botello 5-21-89 was arrested at 6th St. and F Avenue for Driving on a Suspended License.

Fernando M. Guillen 10-21-79 was arrested at 8th St. and Monroe Avenue for Driving on a Suspended License.

Child Neglect was reported at 1st St. and Pan American Avenue.

Possession of Marijuana was reported at DPD.

August 13, 2008

ARRESTS

Rosalinda O. Holbrook 11-5-81 was arrested at Golf Course Rd. and Leslie Canyon Rd. for Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Means of Transportation.

Katina Montes 3-15-73 was arrested at Golf Course Rd. and Leslie Canyon Rd. for Theft of Means of Transportation.

Juan A. Smith 1-19-84 was arrested at the Food City parking lot for Driving on a Suspended License and on a warrant out of Benson PD for Failure to Appear on  Driving on a Suspended License.

Jesus SantaCruz 7-13-86 was arrested at the 600 block of D Avenue on two warrants out of AZ DPS for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving on a Suspended License.

ARRESTS

Julian Rendon was arrested at 12th St. and F Avenue for Driving on a Suspended License.

Robert Whittle 1-26-78 was arrested at Wal-Mart for Shoplifting.

A Burglary was reported at 331 4th St.

August 16, 2008

ARRESTS

David Iniguez 4-30-60 was arrested at Food City on a warrant out of DPD for Failure to Pay Fines on DUI.

Dwayne Nelson 1-24-90 was arrested at the McDonald’s parking lot on a warrant out of DPD for a Violation of a promise to appear on Underage Consumption.

Rene Lopez 11-9-68 was arrested at Food City on two warrants.  The first out of Pima County for Failure to Obey conditions of release for Possession of Narcotic Drug and the second out of Gila River Indian Community Law Enforcement for Failure to Appear on a Traffic Offense.

Alonzo Smith 6-26-70 was arrested at 1133 14th St. for Domestic Violence.

A male juvenile was arrested at Wal-Mart for Shoplifting.

A hit & run accident was reported at 20th St. and Pan American.

A hit & run accident was reported at 1172 Bonita Lane.

Mario Alonso Rios-Zavala 8-18-76 was arrested at the U.S. Port of Entry on a warrant out of Yavapai County for Failure to Appear on Forgery charges.

Andres Escojido 12-26-44 was arrested at 1014 14th St. for Domestic Violence.

    " I agree with "t".Something must be done to regain control of our our community. I don't think that law abiding citizens should have to move away as the previous post suggests. Instead, the police and judges should lean so heavily on these repeat offenders and undesirable elements that they move away. There once was a police chief in Douglas who instructed his officers that when they arrested known criminals, to take them to the city limits, let them out, and tell them never to return. Maybe we need to return to what works. "
