A total of 20 Keyholders and 80 iBoxes Deployed to Help Local Realtors Work More Efficiently, Better Serve Home Sellers.

GE Security, Inc., a business of GE Enterprise Solutions (NYSE: GE), today announced that the Douglas Association of Realtors is celebrating its first anniversary as the nation’s first association to use GE’s intelligent Supra iBox lockbox platform with Supra Active Keys.  The Douglas Association of Realtors implemented 80 Supra iBoxes for 20 of its members.

One of the first users, Angelica Garcia of RAM Douglas Realty, delighted her buyers who expressed interest in a vacant house that they saw for sale as she drove by, because she was able to stop immediately, open the house with its Supra iBox and show it to them.

”GE Security is pleased that the Douglas Association of Realtors has chosen iBox to support its members,” said Dean Seavers, president and CEO, GE Security.  “Thanks to iBox’ advanced technology, Douglas real estate agents are now able to work more efficiently and serve their customers even better.”

The Supra iBox stores keys for a listed property and is accessed by real estate agents to show the home.  In addition to limiting access to an authorized agent and specific showing times for any day of the week, the Supra iBox records the showing activity and automatically delivers it back to the listing agent through the Internet.  Real estate professionals will be able to receive showing activity and feedback they can email to the home seller providing a constant flow of information during the sales process.

The Supra iBox has several physical advantages including a sleek design and large key container capacity.   It helps real estate professionals sell homes by communicating important information electronically such as showing instructions, listing flyers and electronic business cards.

GE Security’s Supra iBox is programmable by the listing agent, wireless authorization of the Supra iBox key, and automatic transfers of showing activity data accelerate the real estate sales process and let agents work more efficiently with better results.
