Cochise College Small Development Center events:


• “Success Right from the Start”: Learn what is involved in a business start-up and how to prepare a business plan.

Aug. 27, 9 a.m. to noon. Fee is $20. Sierra Vista, Room 313.

• “Developing a Business Plan”: Designed to assist small business owners in completing a thorough plan. Six week course starts Sept. 18., 8 a.m. to noon.

Fee is $50. Sierra Vista, Room 313.

• “Marketing 101”: Oct. 15 at the Sierra Vista campus. More details to come.

“I Wish Somebody Had Told Me!”

“I Wish Somebody Had Told Me!” is a financial planning workshop at Cochise College.

This practical course is designed for high school students and “the twenty-somethings” in an attempt to keep them from getting on the proverbial financial wheel to nowhere. 

The course examines in simple, but effective terms, opportunity cost, debt management, credit card control, procrastination and offers techniques that can affect future financial well-being.

Dates:Oct. 22, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and Nov. 8, 1 to 3 p.m.

If wanting to attend, call the college at 515-5492; cost is $12.
