Nine area wineries plus nine local restaurants are providing the ingredients for the second annual Opening Night Delights, the overture to the new Sierra Vista Symphony season that begins Saturday, September 13.   The 5 PM to 6:30 event. sponsored by the Symphony League, is to be held in the Grand Salon of the new Garden Place Suites, 100 N. Garden Avenue.

Dee Foster and Nancy Hessler have arranged for Sonoita Vineyards, Callaghan Vineyards, Dos Cabezas Wine Works, Kief-Joshua Vineyards, Village of Elgin Winery, Four Monkey Winery and Rancho Rosa Vineyards from the Sonoita-Elgin area to contribute their superb wines.  Willcox-area wineries represented include Crop Circle Vineyards and Coronado Vineyards.  Sparkling wines are provided by Andrew McCreery of Young’s Market, Phoenix, that services Beverage House in Sierra Vista.

“The Symphony League is so excited to have these local wineries participating in our event for the first time,” acknowledges Sue Nagle, the organization’s chair.
